1. Interpretation of consumer and market data. From its inception in 1996 until recently, The Fashion Channel (TFC) enjoyed great success by appealing to as a broad an audience as possible. Overall viewer numbers were the main focus, and so long as TFC had no significant competition in terms of the fashion-specific content it offered, this â€Å"something for everyone† approach was a winner. But competitors such as CNN and Lifetime made note of TFC’s success. They began to offer fashion-specific programming. Consumers now have a choice, and the ratings show that non-loyal consumers are starting to choose alternatives to TFC. Develop a factual analysis of the segmentation options with the pros and cons of each. While each option provides the opportunity for increased net income, there are significant advantages and disadvantages that need to be weighed for each option. The first option is a full market coverage option and is intended on capitalizing on the broad appeal of the network; the â€Å"something for everyone† model. The major question that comes up under this option is whether a differentiated or undifferentiated approach would be used for targeting the various groups in the target demographic. While more expensive a differentiate approach could do more to garner widespread appeal in that each cluster within the age demographic would be given different offering that would appeal to their various sensibilities. For example, a show about upscale thrift store shopping could be developed to speak to value driven Situationalists. Unfortunately, based on the information provided, Wheeler looks to implement a more undifferentiated approach. Matthew Lippman provides that the Lai Massacre violated the international humanitarian law of war. The Lai Massacre and the Vietnam War raises critical questions about how America conduct war and its military leadership in Vietnam. The massacre of innocent unarmed civilians illustrates the horrendous war crime committed by American soldiers. Lippman discusses how the United States tried to keep the events of My Lai Massacre from the public. The My Lai Massacre makes me wonder if this was only one of the many massacres in Vietnam War and if the higher US officials managed to cover-up the other massacres. The trials for the crimes committed in My Lai were held separately from the Nuremberg trails because officials wanted to avoid creating parallels between the two events. However, parallels can be drawn with American conduct in Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo Bay. Troops who were in violation of international law and committed war crimes in Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo Bay were not held account able for their action to their full extent. In fact, those who were convicted were not necessarily charged with war crimes. This leads us to question whether the events of my Lai and Nuremberg could ever be reconciled. Allan Ryan makes the argument that the Nuremberg Tribunals was the most significant development of international human rights law. An implemental innovation is the variation of existing products or an innovative way of distributing products. These types of innovations are the most widespread ones in franchisees. The innovation that takes place in a fast food restaurant is fluctuates depending on the proportion of the franchisees as compared to that of the company owned stores. The fast food restaurant in Dubai requires innovative capabilities as the taste of the consumers are changing over time (Ledoux et al., 2015). Being a newly appointed manager, the innovation which I would like to bring about in a fast food restaurant in Dubai will include the introduction of a new burger as well as the replacement of the grills. The new grills will be the part of the new cooking concept where the slim food approach will be widen into a gourmet way. The innovation will also include the installation of sunshade outside the serving area since Dubai is a warm area. An innovation will also include a concept where the customers can use their phones or tablets to build their own burgers with bacon, guacamole or jalapenos toppings. Entrepreneurial Skills The fast food restaurant will face challenges despite of keeping a low budget menu. The entrepreneurial skills should posses the following qualities: The delivery system should be managed in such a way that items on the menu cards are easily available to the customers. The transaction should e carried out in such a manner that it should take less time and this in turn should make more money. The menu items which will take too long to get prepared should be discontinued. The entrepreneurial skills should also include the minimization of waste and the maximization of revenue. The low profit margin needs to be offset. The discard track should be improved and goals need to be set. The successful entrepreneurs need to understand the area in order to avoid the catastrophic mistakes. The entrepreneur generally experiment ideas in low risk surroundings (Lee et al., 2016). Challenges and Solutions of Employees There are many challenges that are faced by the fast food industry. The challenges are related to wrapping, pricing, shipping as well as traceability. The challenges also include generating a reliable distribution system, organizing cost fluctuations and customer choice, and keeping food clean, fresh and reasonably priced all challenge the business every day. Each passing day there are large quantities of food that are thrown out of the nation at every level. This in turn adds to the cost and reduces the availability of fresh food. Even, the fast food restaurant needs to justify the taste of the costly fruits which includes strawberries as well as avocados and asparagus. While making a fresh food and not the canned products, the fast food restaurants will either suffer a big loss or earn a huge profit. As far as solutions are concerned with the above challenges, it is very important to connect with the network capability and track and trace the logistics. The food must be kept clean and healthy so that the customers do not fall ill. This can be done by making the food in a safe ad hygienic place. Building Trust and Sharing Risk Taking It is very important to be honest to build the trust with the customers, without following the contractual red tape.
